EXPOSIS

We asked ten participants
who have experienced
psychosis what it was like.
They answered
with one word.

We photographed them
holding their word
as they spelled it out
in lettering blocks.

Each subject holds the
physical and emotional
weight of their answer.

The primitive, DIY, screen-
printing-direct-onto-wood
method captures the
exposed and unfinished
nature of psychosis.
